On Sunday night, 18-year-old Cayler Ellingson was struck and killed by a car pushed by 41-year-old Shannon Brandt in a politically motivated homicide in North Dakota.
The teenager was attending a avenue dance in McHenry, North Dakota.
Brandt known as 911 after fleeing the accident, telling the dispatcher that Ellingson was a part of a “Republican extremist group.”
Brandt confessed to killing 18-year-old Ellingson due to his politics.
