New York Metropolis is now utilizing 14 accommodations to deal with the migrants being bussed in by Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
The governor has been sending the flood of migrants in his state to liberal cities and states, in addition to Washington, DC.
On Saturday busses carrying 96 extra migrants arrived in NYC from Texas. He has now despatched over 1,500 to the sanctuary metropolis as a part of Operation Lone Star.

“Texas is filling the gaps left in Biden’s absence at our border,” Abbott wrote on social media on Saturday. “We’ve revamped 19,000 arrests, seized over 335.5M deadly fentanyl doses, & despatched over 7,400 migrants on buses to DC and over 1,500 to NYC. Whereas Biden ignores the disaster, Texas steps up.”
In an announcement linked in his tweet, Governor Abbott stated that “for the reason that launch of Operation Lone Star, the multi-agency effort has led to greater than 297,200 migrant apprehensions and greater than 19,000 legal arrests, with greater than 16,400 felony prices reported. Within the struggle in opposition to fentanyl, DPS has seized over 335.5 million deadly doses throughout this border mission.”

Whereas the Democrat mayors of DC and NYC have refused to assist fixing the border, they don’t appear to understand it when their state is the one being flooded with migrants.
DC Mayor Muriel Bowser has been begging the Nationwide Guard to help, in what she calls a “disaster,” which they’ve refused to do.
Manuel Castro, commissioner of the New York Metropolis Mayor’s Workplace of Immigrant Affairs, accused the governor of “weaponizing asylum seekers.”
“He’s weaponizing asylum seekers,” Castro stated in an announcement, in line with Fox News. “It’s shameful, and it’s our ethical obligation to sentence the usage of human beings for political functions.”
Governor Abbott has refused to again down.
