Amtrak on Wednesday introduced it canceled all lengthy distance trains beginning Thursday, September 15 as a nationwide rail strike looms.

On Wednesday, virtually 5000 members of the Worldwide Affiliation of Machinists and Aerospace Employees District 19 voted to reject a proposed settlement.
