Joy Reid: Georgia Made History by Rejecting Herschel Walker and Instead Electing a Black Man

MSNBC host Joy Reid pontificated that Georgia “averted” a “disaster” by rejecting Herschel Walker and instead electing Raphael Warnock, a black man, to a full six-year Senate term.

Eagle-eyed viewers will note that Herschel Walker is also, in fact, a black man.

Reid played clips on her show “The ReidOut” showing Walker, Warnock’s Republican opponent, questioning what “pronouns” are and referring to elections as “erections.”

It is meant to portray Walker as unintelligent which, on a side note, Chuck Schumer once made a similar gaffe.

But Reid betrayed her own lack of intellect by seemingly forgetting Walker is also a black man.

“Well, Georgia and America averted that disaster last night and instead made history by sending Raphael Warnock back to the Senate giving Georgia’s first black senator, only the 11th black American senator in American history, a full six-year term,” she said.

“Choosing a candidate with competence, Georgians smacked down the ignorance and cynicism of Republicans’ decision to stand by Walker, who they now freely admit was a disaster.”

Joy Reid: Black Man Winning Over Herschel Walker is Historic

It’s really anybody’s guess as to how Joy Reid remains employed in the journalism industry considering her well-documented low-IQ segments and history of bigotry. (By the way, FBI, did you ever figure out who ‘hacked‘ her old blog?)

But these particular comments belong on her Wall of Fame.

Aside from seemingly forgetting Walker is black, we’re not sure you can call an election ‘making history’ when it’s happened eleven times before.

And one of those black senators is Tim Scott of South Carolina – he’s been elected to a full six-year term twice – who Reid has never referred to as a historic figure. Rather, she disgustingly attacked him as a “token.”

“You’ve got to love Tim Scott standing there to provide the patina of diversity over that round of words, that basket full of words,” Reid said.

Last year, she referred to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas – a far more accomplished African-American than either Warnock or Reid – as “Uncle Clarence,” an apparent reference to Uncle Tom.

Thomas is only the second black man to serve as a Supreme Court Justice. He is the longest-serving member of the Supreme Court, making him the most senior associate justice on the Court.

But yea, Warnock’s election was historic because he’s a black man.

It’s Not Walker That’s Dumb

The reality here is that Herschel Walker, in Joy Reid’s mind, is not the right kind of black man. He doesn’t adhere to the Democrat plantation and thus, must be smeared as unintelligent.

As President Biden might say, if you don’t support him, “You ain’t black.”

Like her racist smear against Scott, Joy Reid has previously accused Herschel Walker of being little more than a GOP “prop.”

“What they want is Herschel, who’s gonna sit there quietly and nod, and nod, and nod while he’s being pointed to as if he is a prop,” Reid claimed.

She said this even as she consistently quietly nods along with her Democrat guests on a nightly basis.

The irony here is that if anyone said those same exact things about Warnock, Reid would summarily dismiss them as a racist. So what does that make her?

Reid was forced to apologize in 2018 after homophobic and anti-Semitic blog posts from the 2000s surfaced, something she attempted to blame on hackers.

Reid continues to be featured prominently on MSNBC with her show “The Reidout” airing in primetime.
