Governor Ron DeSantis was scheduled to talk Sunday at a fundraiser for Republican gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin in New York Metropolis.
The fundraiser price donors $25,000-a-plate to listen to the favored Florida governor converse in New York.
However Governor DeSantis pulled out of the occasion on Sunday because of an “unforseen tragedy.”
Governor DeSantis will reschedule the journey to New York.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis needed to pull out of a big-bucks fundraiser for New York gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin on Lengthy Island on Sunday due to an “unexpected tragedy,” the candidate’s rep instructed The Publish.
The Sunshine State Republican was slated to seem at a $25,000-a-plate gathering in Oyster Bay.
“An unexpected tragedy pressured Governor DeSantis to reschedule his journey to New York,” Zeldin spokeswoman Katie Vincentz mentioned, declining to elaborate. “Whereas we’re rescheduling with Governor DeSantis for a later date, tonight’s fundraiser will proceed and is predicted to lift nearly one million {dollars}.”
